Activate - a full six dimensional assessment of current IT Service Management processes and the creation of a value scorecard around the appropriate ITIL disciplines.
This assessment is used in conjunction with the Validate findings, to provide an accurate and relevant “journey planner”, rather than a broad-brush maturity recommendation approach.
In line with Planwell's 'Value Not Validity' ethos, maturity scoring can usually be considered as validity and therefore Activate offers, instead, a value based scoring assessment specific to the organisation.
The service covers a wide range of processes in broad alignment with BS15000/AS8018 but also includes Infrastructure Management and Project Management, therefore covering all 17 processes (if needed). The processes to be assessed and rated are those that are appropriate to the scope, which will be determined during the Validate phase - we are able to review a minimum of 6 prime processes if appropriate.
Whilst the output clearly provides ratings for the appropriate processes it also includes an accurate Journey Plan for Service Improvement, created using information gained during the Validate service.
